Kristina says, “The comic character, Beatrice, is based on a real person that I used to work with at a midtown restaurant in Manhattan. (Until she got fired for being bad.) I bumped into Beatrice at the Trump protests in New York the day after the election results were released and created this drawing following our run-in. The protest signs included in the drawing are a few that we saw as we took the long march up to Trump Tower together. I added “QUEEF!”
