Jamaica says, "I keep a daily comic diary, and through the course of this election I've done my best to keep my eyes open and record my feelings. The end result is a clash of horror and the mundane, the moments of beauty strike out stronger than before, the moments of grief sit on the page naked. I feel it captures the clash of everything, and the resolution at the end to carry on. ​"
