Brianne says, “Every time I leave my house I am afraid for my safety, but I never feel more unsafe than I do taking public transit. Trapped in a metal box just trying to get to work safely, trying to determine who is safe and who is not and positioning myself accordingly, reading the statistics in my city and learning that according to REPORTED incidents a woman is sexually assaulted every 3 days on the TTC. ​”
