I bumped into Beatrice at the Trump protests in New York the day after the election results were released and created this drawing following our run-in. The protest signs included in the drawing are a few that we saw as we took the long march up to Trump Tower together. I added "QUEEF!"

Things are not ok, and they will not be. We have to acknowledge this as a fact and fight for what we believe to be is right. To be resilient and provide human kindness. It's easy to say that everything is going to be ok just to feel better. But right now we shouldn't. I am a female, jewish, dual citizen. I am terrified but I won't give up."
